Top of PageHow to Become a Volunteer on Campus/Volunteer Driver
For more information about becoming a volunteer on campus or a volunteer driver for athletic events, field trips or other school activities, please visit the Orland Unified School District website at http://www.orlandusd.net/index.html.

The Application for Volunteer and School Driver Certification Form must be resubmitted to the District Office each school year.

Any person visiting OHS that is not an enrolled student must have legitimate school business and must immediately check in to the office to request a visitor's pass. Visitor's passes must be visible at all times.


Any person not currently enrolled at Orland High School must have written permission from the administration to attend a dance/activity. Guest Pass Request Forms are available in the office and must be returned to the office with all appropriate signatures 3 days prior to the dance/activity.

1.    Guests must abide by all rules of the school/community while attending our functions. Potential guests who have been disciplinary problems in the past or who pose a threat in any way to other students or the peace of a dance or activity will not be allowed to attend.

2.     Only one (1) guest per student is permitted at any one time.

3.  Students enrolled an alternative education campus are not permitted to attend dances without administrative approval. 


Students from one Orland Unified School District campus are not allowed on another campus without a written note from a representative of his/her school. A student must have "reasonable school business" to visit another campus.  Trespassing at a school other than ones own is punishable by a suspension, as well as by fine from police.  Similarly, any person visiting OHS that is not an enrolled student must have legitimate school business and must immediately check in to the office to request a visitor's pass.
